A quote by Nelson Mandela

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadiquet.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us.

But you are a child of God.

You playing small does not serve the world."

MY Poem!! Its awesome!!!!

The Waiting Man
The waiting man closes his eyes and counts to ten
Waiting, Waiting for the world to end
Waiting for life to pass him by
While he watches others touch the sky
He watches the laughs and tears they share
While he sits and waits for the world to be fair
He waits to be cherished and waits to be loved
His heart far away, flying like a dove
Away from him and his selfish ways ,
for the waiting man waits for days and days
He never stops and never will
He thinks and sits perfectly still
He sometimes cries when life gets tough
but he never fights back and never plays rough
He just sits and waits for whatever comes his way
He doesn't bother to talk not that anyone wants to sit and stay
Foolish is a man who waits for life
for all he gets in return is agony and strife
THe more he waits the more his heart grows sore
So for now the waiting man waits no more

Okay so rate me. How good was that?
Was it:

1- really suckish- my own parents cringe when they hear it
2- suckish- I have a slim chance in the literary world
3-Kinda suckish- I could do way better but its bearable
4-somewhat suckish-it might make it on the fridge
5-descent- will definatly make it on the fridge but not publishable
6- alright- would get you a solid B+ on ur homework assignment but not a pultzer prize
7- pretty good- somewhat publishable but in a magizine that no one reads
8-good- heartfelt and good to read through and probably publishable but you've seen it before
9- great- obviously writen by someone very talented great word choice definatly publishable but has a few mistakes
10- fantastic!- perfect in every way makes tears fill up in your eyes its so great

For my top song this week i put "How I Could Just Kill A Man" by Charolette Sometimes. Ilove her voice and the beat of it is just awesome!! i first heard it on Vh1 which is like where i find all my new music a lot of their you-oughta-know artists are really talented. I also got Your song which was originally sung by Elton John but i got the version from Moulin Rouge in which it was sung by Ewan McGregor. I love his voice and hes a really good actor. Even though Elton John's version will always be a classic McGregor really brought life into the song. I also added Iron Lung by Radiohead. Its got to be one of the greatest Guitar songs i have ever heard! The last song i got on my playlist was Should've said no by Taylor Swift just cuz its catchey and one of my friends was complaining that she didn't know any of the songs on my playlist and i honestly that sucks 4 her cuz i think my songs r awesome!!!!!!
